Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026
This site (aleksanderuznanski.com) is a personal portfolio. This page explains what data it collects, why, and your rights over it.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Aleksander Uznański, based in Wrocław, Poland. For any privacy question or request, email aleksander@uznanski.com.
What is collected and why
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies and records anonymised usage (pages viewed, approximate location, device, referrer) so I can see how the site is used and improve it. Legal basis: your consent / my legitimate interest in understanding traffic.
- Booking a call. If you book via the embedded Cal.com scheduler, the name, email and any notes you enter are processed by Cal.com and sent to me so I can hold the meeting.
- Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and delivery.
- Fonts. Fonts load from Fontshare and Google Fonts. Those providers receive your IP address when your browser requests the font files.
- Email. If you email me directly, I process what you send in order to reply.
Cookies
The only cookies are those set by Google Analytics (for example _ga and _ga_*), used to distinguish visitors and sessions. No advertising cookies are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on.
Who the data is shared with
Data is processed by the service providers above, each under their own privacy terms:
- Google (Analytics) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Cal.com (scheduling) — cal.com/privacy
- Vercel (hosting) — vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
Data is not sold. It is not shared with anyone else except where required by law.
How long it is kept
Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Booking and email correspondence is kept only as long as needed for our contact, then deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data; restrict or object to processing; ask for portability; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email aleksander@uznanski.com. You also have the right to complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the UODO.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
